Hpa An Project (Ongoing project)
A Pilot Plantation Project in Karen State
The aim of the project is to use advanced Japanese agriculture technologies and Japanese plant species which will be planted in Myanmar for domestic consumption and export, such as Japanese yams, ginger, and buckwheat.
Also, we will plant Myanmar species of vegetables, such as Chinese yams and cassava, using Japanese organic fertilizer in order to produce export-quality crops. On plantations, we will not be using pesticides, so that consumers can trust and rely on our healthy food products.
Our vision is to produce healthy organic vegetable products that are tasty and that will reduce health problems such as cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and organ failure. Also, on the Japanese part, they will invest in long-term businesses by supporting advanced technology, technical advisors, and related machinery to support the project; we plan to change from traditional farming to efficient agriculture mechanization.
